Do tell: What is all the hype about bitcoins if I cannot pay my bills with them?

I just did a little research. From what I have found, there are not that many places that take bitcoins. Overstock does take them. Yet, if I cannot pay my bills, that is a bit of an issue. Most of the tasks I do pay with gift card and such, but not money. I want to pay my bills. What online work do you do that pays actual money?

It depends in every country. In the UK and in the Philippines Bitcoin companies have virtual/plastic cards. We can transfer Bitcoin to VISA debit cards if we need to purchase something from shops that do not accept Bitcoin/PayPal.

I´d also like to learn the use of bitcoins. Maybe they will have more uses later. But I´ll wait.

There is no Chile Bitcoin company listed in wikipeda but your country is supported by Wirex (not the USA and India). My country is on the list too. I have both plastic and virtual visa from WirexApp (former E-Coin)
Presently, the number of supported countries for Wirex card issuance and delivery is limited. If you cannot find your country in the supported country list below, it means we are unable to issue an...

Swagbucks. You can cash out your points for either gift cards or PayPal. I cash out to PayPal. You can cash out for as little as 300 points or $3 - that would be gift cards. You would need 2500 points minimum to cash out to PayPal. I usually wait until I have 5000 points for a $50 cash out. I'm sitting right now just over 2000 points. It's going to be a while until I cash out, but mostly because I haven't been active on their recently. One thing you can do to get points is order online. I don't order just to get points, but for those things I would go to the store for anyway. I don't get points going to the store, but I do by shopping online and having it either delivered or I pick it up. It's worth it because Swagbucks cashback on online ordering is usually very good. Some places is 2%, Wal-Mart is usually 7%. I'm hoping they also do groceries soon. Then I can order online and just go pick them up. They've started doing that in some places, not here yet.

@MsBooklover You get points for watching Swag TV. You need to watch a lot of that to get some decent points. Surveys are another way to earn points and they can really add up nice if you qualify for them. I don't qualify for many. They also have offers. I look for the ones I don't need to do anything more than answer a short quiz to get the points. Then there's the Swag Code the points you get when that is available, can be few or many. If you put the Swag button on your address bar, you will be notified when a code is available. It's an easy way to earn money.

I joined swagbucks, but have not used it yet. I am going to see what I can do. I cannot pick up items at a store unless I have a ride. I would opt for the Paypal. What kind of things do you do on Swagbucks besides buying items?

@just4him Sounds good to me. I am making a long list of these groups that you are supposed to be able to make money from. I want to make $130 a month. Time will tell.
