...and actually a few houses down, there was a book sale at one of our neighbor's houses to benefit cancer reasearch.
I saw the sign in the morning on Angel's and my walk, but didn't actually look closely at it until our afternoon walk.
Folks had donated books to the sale, and when I got there they were packing up, though if I heard right they made $400. Even though I got there at the end and there was at least two dozen large boxes already packed up, there were enough books still out to fill a small library. I have a friend who would have absolutely loved it.
I took a peek around, and saw a book by one of my mother's fave authors that I picked up, and the book pictured for me to read -- as I've been on a watching M*A*S*H* kick lately.
My neighbor said I could have the books -- even though I offered to bring some money by later.
So--pick up/read any good books lately?

I thought it was cool, too--I wish I had gone there earlier.

@MALUSE No, I'm old fashioned. I prefer a paper book. :)

I did not visit the library for the past several months.
