Here is a list of the don't of mylot again. If you are like me you just signed up you didn't read everything. well I got tired of seeing post after post being the same and or the silly lil games that go on in here...ya we all have dumb questions from time to time and or do silly questions. But then we wonder why our post are missing from my lot....here's a refresher. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mylot DON'Ts Post comments in threads for the purpose of drawing attention to another thread on a different subject. Make multiple posts on the same subject for the purpose of getting attention paid to your issue. Post copyrighted articles please link to them. DON’T post copyrighted photos at all. Respond to a discussion until you've read all of the responses. Post "Me Too!" messages; add something of substance to the conversation. Start a new discussion unless you have something of substance to say. Start discussions asking for one word answers like “Yes or No”. Thank everyone that responds or comments on your discussion. This will not increase your earnings. Start meaningless discussions or give meaningless responses to try and boost your rating. Discussions like “What’s your age” will be deleted as well as short responses like “ok” or “no”. Start game and poll type discussions. For example, discussions like “How old are you” or “Let’s see how high we can count, I’ll start with one”. Post any links promoting other affiliate programs or that do not pertain to the discussion. Posting the same link over and over or posting links that have no relevance to the discussion is not allowed. Post discussions directed at one person such as “user1 what did you do today?” or “user2 where are you?” Post discussions soliciting a response for a response for example “+” rating for a response. These are against our terms and will be deleted. Post to “flame” other users! Being mean to others is just not fun. Anything derogatory that is directed at a myLot user is strictly prohibited. Just be nice and have fun! Request donations, post charity requests, petitions for signatures, chain letters or letters relating to pyramid schemes, advertising or solicitations for funds, or mass mailings. Post for commercial or advertising purposes, including classified ads in the discussion area. Post anything that discloses your personal information or others' personal information. We do not disclose it to anyone for good reason. Post similar or identical postings. Stealing posts from other users or posting the same thing over and over again will not help your myLot earnings. Multiple identical postings, even if legitimate, may be considered spam. Post symbols or languages other than English unless you are asking how to translate a word or a phrase. Post discussions, responses or comments criticizing members for bad/broken English or bad spelling. Everyone is welcome at myLot, we have users from all around the world and they are welcome regardless of their proficiency with the English Language. Post anything that inaccurately explains the myLot earnings algorithm. Our myLot mathematicians have worked long and hard on our elaborate payment system and we wouldn’t want any of our users to make them feel inadequate by breaking their algorithm in minutes. Use all-caps or excessive punctuation. so see why a lot get taken off?

Well I think it's kinda silly(too put it nicely) to sign up for a site and not read the rules. Doesn't make sense to me.

Thank You for sharing. I also say DO start some quality conversation and Debate, but do Not do so if you can not be nice to the opposing views! :) .. I really enjoy MyLot, and well I did a few of the don'ts here and there but not for malicious or annoying reasons. I am here to help and contribute as much as I can, I did not know about the referal thing not being allowed, However I never earn anything on referals either. I just do it to help people. Other then one thing I posted about refering to a newsletter I was hoping to earn the book, that I can not afford..... I hope that post was not against the rules. Well, take care and thanks. - DNatureofDTrain

This is the only one I don't like......"Don't Thank everyone that responds or comments on your discussion. This will not increase your earnings." I know it doesn't increase our earnings but I think it is just being polite. Plus it bumps your topic back up so others might see it without having to weed through everything.

Are these official MyLot rules? I think they make sense (most of them, anyway). If they took off all the posts that violate these rules, I bet 3/4 of the content on this Web site would disappear. There's way too much of the one-word answer type of questions, it makes it harder to find the good, useful content.

yes these are mlots official rules....As for the one word answers...when they tell me to answer yes or no I go beyond that in my answer...lol it's funny how so many complain because no good topics but when world issues are brought up or discussions that require more than a couple words they sit with no reponses to them... thanks for responding....oh by the way what color are yours eyes and um do you snore answer yes or no
