Well, I did it!

I actually gave the message at church today.
Even though I was worried I would mess up, my husband and the people there said I did well.
About 4am, I was sure I wouldn't be able to even attend church, let alone "preach."
I'm on strong meds for a kidney infection and was in a lot of pain during the night. I thought about going to the ER, but then felt just a little better.
It was the grace of God that I was in church rather than the hospital!
Now all I want to do is take a pain med and have a nice nap.
Hope you guys are having a great Lord's day.

Sorry you were in pain all night because of your kidney infection, those are the worst. I'm excited to hear your preaching went well and everyone enjoyed it. All that worry for nothing, now lets hope you can do it again if you need too. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your day and you got your nap and felt better.

@1creekgirl oh bummer i hope the pain meds our helping then. I used to have those and when I had my gallbladder removed in 2011 they left a bile duct in there so i sometimes get pains from that as well.

Thanks for the nice words. I did get a nap and feel better today. I'm pretty sure I have a kidney stone moving along with the infection, though. But I'm thankful I was able to give the message at church.

Thanks. It wasn't on my bucket list, but the more we talked about it, the more I really wanted to do it!
