Yrsterday, my usual running exercise in the morning was interrupted when blessing comes down my way and my activity was stopped. I ran almost 5 kilometers when I paased at the house of our friends who happened to be vacationing in the Philippines and called my name. You know the tradition of giving something to your friends and families when you just arrived from abroad. This friend just came from San Francisco California. Well, she gave me a bunch of gifts like Nutella, Toblerone and other chocolates, Irish Spring bath soap and some other goods. I cannot explain to her that I'm in running mode that I cannot lift the bag. I'm afraid ahe might think its unfriendly gesture. What can I do but to get the bag. I have to walked the remaining 5 kilometers because of that gift of love.

that was my plan but I'm to ashamed to tell it to her, so not to disappoint her I just get the bag. Walking while holding the bag of goods.

i like the fragrance of the Irish Spring soap, with its green stripes and its hardness, it leaves a very refreshing fragrance in your body after bath or shower. i hope your Nutella will reach a week, because of its so sweet taste, i doubt if it won't be consumed before 7 days, like us here. is your Toblerone brown chocolate, or white choco?

you are fortunate to have loving and caring people around you who think of you when they are in a vacation.

Its a Filipino trait of giving something to your friends or relatives when you arrived from abroad. Actuallly this is not compulsory but most of us if not all will do this practice

Such caring friends are rare, that's lovely of them! And I think you did the right thing, because finishing the run and coming back doesn't show gratitude in my opinion.
