Blended Families

My ex-husband recently had his girlfriend and her kids move in with him and my son. She has a daughter close to my son's age and a son who is almost 2. It has been an adjustment for everyone but has been more good than bad from what I can see. His girlfriend and I get along and I like her kids and they all seem to be living together well. What experience do others have with this?

experience, for me none. its good that this is all working out. its not often that ex's get along and to add to it, by getting along with the others gf , is a bonus.

Yes it is unusual in a good way and we have our ups and downs but we try to get along for our sakes and our son's.
