How do you think your life would change if you win $200 mln tomorrow? Will you use it for yourself or help others? If you think about helping others, what would you do?

If I won that big amount I would certainly use some money for myself to make my life more comfortable and spent the other part of money to build a scholarship trust which provides money to students who want to complete collowge education in US.

I would pay off my sister and BIL's mortgage. I would set up funds for nieces and nephews, so that they would not have to worry about financing college. I would set up investments for future grandchildren. I would donate money to several charitable and research organizations - including but not limited to: cancer research, Ronald McDonald foundation ( I don't eat their food, but I do think Ronald McDonald house is a great idea), Dave Thomas - to help with adoptions, Guiding Eyes for the blind, research for orphan diseases - I have one, I would like to hire lawyers to help people who are close to retirements who unfairly lost their jobs.. those companies would take a beating if I get my way (yes, a personal vendetta), scholarship funds special for old people to help them start new careers.

Oh, I would py off my mortgage and buy a new house and begin to live in a life style that I have never become accustomed to because I could never afford it. I would like to be able to retire...in style.

surely i will share some to my siblings for us to start our own business or pursue advanced education or anything good. i would live not a lavish lifestyle but a bit frugal one though i'll buy the things i long dreamt. and the rest, i'll give it to charity, to church through bank deposits to have some level of anonymity.

If only.... $200 million is a lot of money. If I come into that amount post tax or even pre tax for that matter, first, I would ensure that my family is taken care of for generations to come. Second, I would definately donate to a few worthy causes, and third, I would find a total stranger and help them out. I am a total advocate of Karma. After all of that, there would still be enough to live off the interest.

One thing for sure. My family will not have to worry anout money and I will invest my money well, then I open my own charity organization. This organization will focus on saving animal and environment as well as the weak and the poor. I'm sure there are nice people out there, but they have no idea how much more they can do.

I would use it to help others, and some for myself too. I would give some to my mother so she can fix the house up, and I would give some to charity, and some friends who really need some money. Then I would keep the rest for myself and save it in the bank until I find something useful to do with it. Maybe I might buy a house... I am not sure.

Is your mom only person you would like to help? What charity do you think needs help as of today the most?

I would use it for both myself and helping others. My extended family for sure, then go from there. I would give alot to organizations like animal shelters, feed the children, and there is a local charity in my neck of the woods that is a home where children that are terminally ill go to die. I was heart broken to find out such a place excists and its only privately funded. Thanks for the great question

And to think I almost missed this one and am late as it is... $200,000000.00 nice round number, nice lot of 0's too. First thing would be to invest wisely, to assure a continuing flow of cash for the future. There are thousands of people who have wonderful ideas for creating a business of their own, a business that would create employment for others...Capital financing for such would be on the list. Families affected by addiction always could use aid...children loose a parent, they shouldn't have to loose a childhood. Addicts leaving rehab have a sort of culture shock when they reexperience the 'real world'. Perhaps another step to ease their way back into society. In America downsizing is a problem with thousands of jobs ending with little or no notice. People who are employed often can not afford housing...millions of homes need reburbishing, purchase, repair and resale at reasonable payments with little or nothing down would help two ends at once...provide employment and allow someone to own a home. Scholarships for those seeking and unable to obtain funding for education is always a good idea. I am unsure what I would do for myself...having enough was always good enough for me...a little money at the end of the bills... Family? I'd make them work for a piece of the pie.

I grow up from a poor family. This will really change my lifestyle. Of course, I would help my less fortunate countrymen by donating some of the money to them. I will give money to the poor directly, I don't trust charitable institutions.
