Going around the block...

Soon after I posted that "12 Gallon Rubbermaid..." post, Mom called me and said, "I'm going around the block, and I want you to come with me." I don't know why, at first I thought that she meat walking, then I realized that she meant in the car. Since she's been sick, Mom hasn't driven in quite some time, so she needed the practice. We went down the street a couple of blocks, and turned down this street that was a "horse shoe", then came back down the street to the house. Mom did fine. My brother was all worried that she wouldn't -- but like I said to Mom, he doesn't live in the same house with her like I do, and he doesn't see what she can and can't do every day. Mom thinks she'll do fine, and I do, too.
