Ladies, what are you doing these days to pamper yourself?

I am so busy working and doing paperwork and domestics that I don't have time to pamper myself. There are times my boyfriend will buy me fizzies that does wonderful things to the water in my bath which makes me feel so good. However, there is something I have not don't in years. I am almost ashamed to admit it because I used to do this all the time. Do you know what it is? Do my nails! My girlfriend and I went shopping at Dollar General. I bought the shade of nail polish I thought was right for me, and my girlfriend was shocked. She thought I would get some wild color, but I didn't. The color I chose was a pale shade of mauve also known as beige. What are you doing to pamper yourself? What nail color are you wearing these days?

I like press on nails! No scent and I take them off in a couple of days! Face masks are nice too but I like shopping :)

@MsBooklover The press on nails now works well. I never used it in the past. :)

It has been years since I have worn nails that were not mine. They never seemed to fit back in the day, but then they were not as sophisticated as they are today. I love a good facial. Not sure if they make this one anymore, but it was so good--Elizabeth Arden's Almond Clay Pack. I just looked and could not find it. I am 99.9 percent sure it was made by Elizabeth Arden. That really got your pores clean. I miss that. As for shopping, I don't do that much. It is not that I don't like it, I just don't have the time, and I am very frugal these days.

@MsBooklover My mother did everyone's hair in the family including her own. I don't have her talent. It's best I go to the salon. Thank you.

@just4him My Mom did, too. She did mine. She did relatives. She even fixed the hair mistakes of others. I never had the talent. However, I did dye my hair back to the natural roots about two years ago. It went fine. I need to do that again, but I find myself so tired that I put it off because I don't want to go blind as a result of not being alert.

You do look like a million bucks. Your hair look so silky. When my Mom and and Grandmother were alive, my Mom would wash, set and style my Grandmother's hair. She always looked fantastic. My Mother did her own hair, and she always looked so nice.

I don't do anything for my nails but did go swimming and spent some time in the sauna yesterday. That felt good!

@MsBooklover I dunno. Maybe blossom, or slightly on the less pinkish side. I like cherry blossoms, that's why:)
