My Photography - Farm House

This is another window photo. This is a window from the abandoned farm house on Jacob's grandfather's farm. It is the house that Jacob's great great great grandparents lived in and then his great-grandparents as well. It now full of old furniture and things from his great grandmother's apartment when she passed. It is all run down now and no one goes it anymore. The paint is peeling off of it, there are vines growing on some sides of it, and some of the windows are broken or at least most of them are. For this photo I just wanted it to look creepy. The broken window and the black and white makes it look like it would be haunted. The paint that is peeling off used to be green but now it is just a very pale grayish/green color. Window manipulating is my favorite thing to do. The first one I did I was able to make the wood look black and the spots on the wood turn bright orange. It made for a good Halloween photo and it is still one of my favorites even though I took it a year ago. I posted that photo a long time ago. Photoshop is a great thing and editing photos is my favorite part of taking photos really. A lot of people don't understand that there is a lot more to photography than just pointing the camera and pressing a button. I feel like the arts are just underappreciated by a lot of people.

In the first glance it looked like a painting to me, it's amazing shot. ..I can understand the hard work behind it

Thank you. I have a lot of abstract artsy photos saved on Pinterest that I want to try and make in photoshop or similar to them. You can do so much on there and this is just a basic thing to learn.

Very interesting photo and nice story behind it. It is creepy and if you look closely there seems to be some sort of monster looking out.

I would love to take a photo like that. One of my best friends is a twin and they are both very spooky and love Halloween and all things creepy and crawly. I want to do some creepy/freaky twin photo shoot with them one day.

It does look creepy but I like it. I think it nice to ghost hunt here. Nice shot!

This is a really cool photograph and does make it look really mystical. You really have a good knack for this.. Wish you could start selling this original work.

I wish I could too. I have tons photos and I would love for them to be showcased in a magazine, gallery, or hanging on someone's wall. They will definitely be hanging on my own wall someday when I get my own home.

Yes, creep. Maybe next time you will catch a ghostly spirit looking at you.

That would make a nice photo. I just commented above that if we could have gotten to that window I would have loved to have had someone standing inside and looking out at me. One photo I would love to try and capture is lightning. I saw a photo a few years back that someone took with cranes flying during a lightning storm and it was the most beautiful thing I had seen in a long time. They looked like flying dinosaurs during prehistoric times.
