What A Surprise!

Because of the really hot weather, I have not been running any errands, but today, after it cooled down a bit, I ventured out to the Post Office and the grocery store. What a surprise, when I checked my Post Office box. NINE postcards!!! 2 from France, and one from each of these countries: Poland, Taiwan, Netherlands, Mexico, Germany, Malaysia and Slovenia. I was shocked but very happy to see all the post cards. Then, when I got back home, I tried to sign on to the Postcrossing.com site so that I could register all of them and quess what? No internet connection. I was so frustrated. I tried everything to get online and nothing was working. When my son got home, I asked him to see if he could do anything and he tried for about a half hour and nothing. So, we gave up. I watched a couple TV programs and then here now at 1:30 AM, I finally did get online and got all of the post cards registered. The internet is slow and I don’t know what the problem was all day today, but I hope that it’s fixed. It’s supposed to get up to 105 F tomorrow, with thunderstorms in the forecast, so I’m not planning to go out in that heat tomorrow. Maybe I can catch up on myLot tomorrow.

Wow, 9 postcards just for you? I don't get any postcards or person mail these days, only bills and bills...

Since I joined Postcrossing.com a few months ago, I have received about 50 post cards so far from all over the world and I'm really enjoying that. I also must send out post cards to different persons in many different countries, but I'm enjoying this new hobby. I especially enjoy all the beautiful stamps that are on the post cards. My grandson collects stamps so he is enjoying seeing all the stamps.

@IreneVincent That's a very good hobby that I've heard of it before. Maybe I might join as well.

I joined Postcrossing.com a few months ago and I have already received over 50 post cards from all over the world. I'm really enjoying it. Of course, I have to send out post cards to receive post cards but I don't mind that at all. It's a fun hobby.
