I talked to my editor a few days ago and she sent design ideas to the designer. I got a cover option yesterday, but it isn't quite right. I sent her another idea regarding the main character, and she sent that idea to the designer, so I should be seeing another cover option soon. It's getting close. I'm getting excited to see it and hold the finished product in my hands. I'll let you know as soon as I have it decided on.

@cacay1 That's a nice idea Erly, but that is not what the book is about. It's about a young girl who finds herself separated from her family, rescued by sailors on a privateer and sold to be the wife of a sultan. Her only longing is to get back to her family.

@shikharava I write Christian fiction. This is the last in a four book series set in the 1700's. The genre is historical fiction.

That sound so exciting. A friend of mine designs his own covers, but I doubt I could do that. I was really pleased with the cover design of my baths book.

@valmnz Scarred is a picture I took. It has been worked with to make it authentic to the time period, something I know nothing about - photoshop that is.

@cacay1 Yes they do. I think I spent more time on the first paragraphs of the book than any other, but I spent a lot of time working on them as well.

@Kandae11 I am excited. She sent me an option yesterday that's perfect except for one small detail, that is very important - the flag. So I sent a picture of the flag as it was back in the 1700's. I should see the completed photo soon.
