I Told Him There Was A Grizzly Bear In The House

My brother is in his own world most of the time. So he does not see everything that happens in this house a lot of the times. We were outside talking about his new punching bag. For some reason, using the punching bag gets Brooklyn all excited, so we were smacking her around too. While doing so, I asked him if he has seen the "Grizzly Bear in our house yet?" He replies, "Grizzly Bear?" Yeah, "there is a Grizzly Bear that hibernates in our house. It only shows its face at certain times." We proceed to talk more about boxing gloves and tape, while still smacking the crap out of Brooklyn getting her all riled up. I knew that would get the Grizzly Bears attention. Sure enough, next thing you hear is a loud scratching on the window. We look up and there was the Mama Grizzly. Standing on its hind legs, Tongue flopping from side to side. Drool pouring out of Mama Grizzlies mouth and glistening in the California sun. The next was an awful grunting noise that pierces the ears. I ran quick to get Kai. so she could chase the Mama Grizzly out of our house. The problem is I could not find Kai anywhere. I looked high and low, no Kai. Wait, what is that? That is Kai in the window looking like a Grizzly Bear. Oh, my bad, thought it was a real Grizzly, really just a big ass dog. Saying, "let me out, I wanna play too!"

Quite hilarious, how it all turned out. A grizzly usually hibernates during winters, I think! What one would do hibernating in summer? Males come out of their hibernation around March and April. While females nap a month or two longer. That's my only knowledge

I know, had the wrong time of year. She has one of those year round hibernation schedules, like year round school.

There has been a rash of black bears ransacking kitchens in Colorado Springs the last week or so.

@crossbones27 - I hope not. They've already put three of them down. Sad.

Indeed, she is a comedian. Not the smartest German Shepherd I have ever met, but what she lacks, she makes up for in humor.

Oh yes, wakes you up in the morning, but I have already seen it. My brother thought it was funny as crap, seeing her big goofy mug in such away.
