Started my new project and I love it

Today I started my new project which consisted of many hours. When I went to New Jersey for a two week visit I took care of my girlfriends house as she went to visit her son in upstate New York. While at her house I took care of her gardens and she has way over an acre of property. I decided to take some cuttings from her plants and bring them home to try and propagate them. I brought home one of my grandsons huge fish tank to put plants in it and start them growing. I started it yesterday and finished it today and I cannot wait to see some new plants start. I took empty cardboard toilet paper rolls and filled them with good potting soil. I then trimmed the cuttings that I brought home and placed them in the cardboard rolls. I stood them all on end and placed them in a plastic container with the plants standing up. Today I finished the project as I have them all standing on end and in the containers in my grandsons very large fish tank. I put river rock all around the plant container and sprayed the plants. I then covered it and just waiting for some nice plants to emerge.

Hey that sounds good Nancy! What a great idea! So they will be irrigated by the rocks in there right?

I do have a spray bottle there in case I need it but it is so humid down here in Florida I probably won't need it. I could see them perk up already after a few hours. I had them wrapped for a few days when we drove back down here.

Me to. I can see them perking up already last night as I sprayed them with water and covered them. I did leave a little space for air. I don't want them getting moldy.

Now I am at the point that I am taking clippings of a lot of plants I see. All I need is about a 6 inch piece to get me going. I think I am driving my husband crazy.
