anyone have children before being married? who waited?

your view and opinions now looking back? would you have done it the same way or differently? I personally have 2 children and although we have been together for nearly 11 years.. we are not married.. nothing against it.. we'll be married over the next year or so before we relocate out of the state.. but its just never been much of a priority to us!.. what is your opinion?!..
