Happy to be back!

Well it's been a good few years since I have been on here, and it's like coming home again. I was never a huge poster, but I used it as a platform to get back into my writing again, pick up some interesting info and of course I met some lovely people. So why did I leave? Because I met and got engaged to someone who really didn't support my love of writing, and to be honest, I lost who I actually was. I became the person he wanted me to be not the real me. Now however, through a story I am actually going to attempt to write a book about, I am with a man that I truly love and he truly loves me for being me. My wonderful fiance supports me in everything I choose to do so I can write to my hearts content. He is quite used to me constantly scribbling things down in my huge collection of notebooks. (I got the rolling eyes today in the shop when I sneakily added 2 nice new notebooks to the basket, but he loves me really). My life has also changed immensely since I last posted. I have moved, survived ovarian cancer, got engaged, became ill again and have been unable to work for the last 2 years, bought a caravan and am currently planning a bigger move to Cornwall in the next year, to totally fulfil the dream that my fiance and I share. Life couldn't be better. My fiances mental and physical health problems have improved and although we have a long battle ahead of us, we couldn't be happier. And so today, while browsing in Facebook posts of mine from years back, I found one with my old Mylot referral link on it and it was like seeing an old friend of mine after many years of separation. I am looking forward to filling alot of my time, now I have an abundance of spare time, writing and chatting on here and getting to meet a new load of lovely people. So as this discussion title says, as you can see, I am happy to be back!

Thank you. I am so excited about it. We are here on holiday in our caravan at the moment, and it is just making it all seem so real. My dream since I was little has been to move to Cornwall or Devon and become a writer. I had been together with my fiance a few months when it came up in conversation one night about it, only to find his dream is also to move here. We have achieved our last 2 goals, and they were to buy the caravan and to holiday in Cornwall.

@TiarasOceanView oh we will. I have no doubts at all that it will happen. I do believe in life that if we want something hard enough, have enough faith, and be proactive enough then achieving any goal or dream is possible.

Thanks beckish. I have so much to write and share. The ups, of our caravan trips, our adventures, planning our move and following our dreams and achieving our goals while we can. Then there is the other side of my life, the downs and I also want to share my experiences of living and caring for someone with a split personality and severe depression. Living the emotional roller-coaster life that we do, there will always be plenty to say. One thing I can say is our lives are never boring. If my writing on here can make one person smile or laugh or even cry, then I know I have touched the emotions of others and if anything I post can help others in any way possible then even better.

Thanks for the warm welcome John. I have been hunting for somewhere I can come in and chat and write, as I always have lots to say and share. Whether anyone will actually want to read my blurb, time will tell. I know I will be quite happy in my own little bubble waffling away even if no one wants to read it
