I will not buy a puppy until this very cold weather is over. I think I will start seeking for a puppy in September, when springtime comes around. Still, I went to check puppies online. And I decided that I would not buy the very first dog I see. I will have to look at the puppy in her eyes (she will be a she dog and I´ll call her Luna). I remember the first time I really saw Misty. Misty was my grandson´s dog. During 2 or 3 years, I did not really see her when I visited and only saw that she got between my feet. After my husband died, my daughter Claudia and her family came to live here. They brought all their furniture in a pickup and made many trips. Misty stayed at a house that was slowly getting bare. Every time she jumped into the pickup and every time she was ordered to go back. I had clearly stated that THE rule was that THE DOG would stay at the garage so that it would not harm my plants. So the last furniture was placed in the pickup and finally Misty was told to get in. The children were already playing in the garden when she came. I went to check the way the furniture was being placed at the garage and it was then when I first saw the eyes of Misty. She was so sad and depressed! The poor babe thought she would be left behind! I yelled at the children: "Come immediatly and play with Misty in the garden. She is depressed." They asked me how did I know. I told them that I had looked into her eyes. That was 17 years ago and now she is in dog´s heaven. I don´t much believe there´s a heaven for people, but I´m sure Misty is romping in a better place.

well a puppy is good if you are able to train and care for it till it learns. i would need a 2 or 3 yrs old one trained already and even then i would worry over it. but i understand wanting one to fill the emptiness
