Are we ready for a female James Bond?

Chris Hemsworth who played Thor in the movies is endorsing actress Charlize Theron to be the first female James Bond when actor Daniel Craig who is the current James Bond actor steps down. In the words of the late Redd Foxx who played the role of Fred Sanford in the sitcom "Sanford And Son" which is currently in reruns "Are you crazy?" Come on Hollywood, keep James Bond male. Create a female spy character based on the late Ian Fleming spy character instead of cramming female replacement for the James Bond characters like M who is now a female played by Judy Dench. First a female Doctor Who and now a possible female James Bond if Barbara Broccoli gives her approval? In the words of the late Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi "What the h*** is going on out there?" Just because Charlize is playing the role of a spy in the movie "Atomic Blonde" or I call it "Atomic Bimbo" does not mean she can fill the shoes of James Bond.

Although I adore Charlize nah..I would not like her as James Bond..I feel it will ruin the series.

Keep James Bond as a male. According to motivational speaker Les Brown no males like to get beat up by a female or have as a female boss.

I agree. If we are to go there, then let's have Wonder Man, Barry Croft Tomb Raider, male reboots of Resident Evil and Underworld, Clarence Starling in Silence of the Lambs remake, etc. Let's be fair to both sexes.

I agree with you since there is a female singing group named Zepella which is named after the rock band Led Zeppelin.

I think it would be interesting to watch a female version of James Bond.

I really don't like the idea of a female Dr. Who, but I think that I could live with a female James Bond... oddly enough!!

That is okay with me since I do believe in the saying "Different strokes for different folks."

I would not watch it too since M who was male is now actress Judy Dench who is female with a short haircut.

@Deepizzaguy - She got killed in Skyfall. Ralph Fiennes took over as M at the end of the movie.

James Bond is famous for his conquests - that's part of being James Bond - will a female James Bond follow in his footsteps? - jumping into bed with handsome males she might encounter along the way?

I like that because it will be a surprise in the James Bond series. It needs to have a change after all these years
