David F. Sandberg will be the director of the D C comic super hero who was formerly named Captain Marvel who now goes by the super hero name "Shazam". When Shazam is not battling villains, he is Billy Batson who is a child who becomes an adult when he says "Shazam". Sandberg has directed movies like "Annabelle: Creation" and "Lights Out" which are horror movies so he will be facing the challenge of directing a super hero movie who is in my book kind of underrated in the same area of admiration of the Big Three of super heroes in the D C Universe which are Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. The shooting of the movie will begin early in 2018. Who will be play Billy Batson/Shazam remains a mystery at this time. Shazam will be released in theaters in early 2019 after the "Aquaman" movie comes out in December 21 2018.

I remember the "Shazam" television show in the late 1970s on Saturday morning television and in the "Batman And Superman: Public Enemies" movie.

Oh good lord. A kid says Shazam and becomes an adult? Most young adults still act like children these days.
