What makes me worry...

What can really make me worry is when my son is unwell. When he's sick, when he's sad...it really gets to me. Before he came into my life, i was never worried about anything. I was carefree and very adventurous. My life changed totally when my son was born. My life revolved around him. Almost everything I do, I have to consider him. I have no room to be selfish. Now that he's complaining of a headache, it makes me really worry a lot and I know I won't be at peace until I hear what his doctor tells me. I have a hunch this headache has something to do with his eyes. What makes you worry?

I am the same Toni..I have one son and if anything is wrong with him, it does worry me. In general, anything else is by the way side as I can handle it. Especially if it is health I do worry. How long has your son had this headache now? Sorry to hear it Toni. I pray for his healing.

It started yesterday afternoon. My preferred doctor for the eyes only accept patients every Tuesday and Thursday and you have to call for an appointment. So I will call her clinic today for my son to have a schedule. I hope he doesn't get headaches anymore.

@toniganzon I hope so too Toni. You are right though, it is most likely the eyes. I hope the good doctor will pinpoint the problem. Have you anything to give him for the headache to ease it? Sometimes a cold pack can help across the forehead.

My mom is like that all the time whether it's my siblings or their kids. My aunties never understand it and always gets mad at her. These few days I've really realize that she's just really being a mom and I'm proud to have some one like her.

You should be. A mother will always love their children no matter what.

I try not to worry so much. I do understand a parent's concern over his child. That is a universal truth.

@toniganzon easy there. A parent is a parent regardless if it is a mom or a dad.

Especially the mothers. They do more than the fathers.

@allen0187 actually no. 90% of the baby's genes come from the mother, that's why we are more sensitive to their feelings than fathers do. I was very close to my dad than my mom, but when i got sick, it was my mom i was looking for never my father.

Hopefully it's nothing serious! At 68, I sometimes worry about the failing health of old age and the situations that will develop as I move forward.

68 is still very young! Live healthy, laugh a lot, and stay happy.

@1hopefulman Too much worrying about those things will get us there quicker. So I don't think much about that. However, I met someone last February that became my health mentor and since then I haven't been eating pork. Other than that, I don't go on a strict diet.

Our children do make us worry at times. We love and care about them so it is only normal to worry about them.

You are a real mother indeed. Will think about her child before anything else. For now, I am worried about my Mom. What she feels, if she have good and comfortable sleep.

@wiLLmaH Don't be I truly understand where you are right now. I've really learned a lot from Grey's Anatomy, and it's really not a good thing to know our loved ones have this. It's not only about the memory loss, it's the suffering they go through and the deterioration of their health.

Family. My dad recently had an eye surgery and there will be another one. He's old and his health is failing. I hope your son will be okay soon.

Thanks, Joy. I just called him actually to check how he's doing and he said he's feeling a bit better. Told him not to strain his eyes.

I have a child and therefore I can understand your feelings. I think your son doesn't have a serious health problem. It is just a little case and soon he will be alright. I am sure about it

When I was a kid, I did not understand why my mom always need to check on me. Now, that I am a grown up already, I realized that she is like that because she loves me. Before I rebel on her but now, it is different. I have been trying to understand her as much as I can and I always try to tell her what I do or where I go.

@toniganzon Yes, I have heard that too. When I told my colleagues I am not interested to have kids, they told me that I cannot pay my debt to my parents if I will not have kids.

@annierose Oh, i never knew about paying debts to parents. I've always wanted to have my own since I was a kid, not due to a debit that must be paid. I just love babies.

@toniganzon maternal instinct. although i read some news on FB about these mothers doing some bad things to their kids, like selling their children online to foreigners. that is bad.
