Left eye a little blurry today

Last night my left eye started hurting so I put ice on it. They said that it would probably swell shut and it hasn't yet. But when I got up this morning things were a little blurry in that eye. I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday so there are a lot of things I want them to check out for me. Dang those car accidents can sure play havic on a person.

I am sorry to hear this Velvet..oh yes must get that checked out. There are so many hidden things that can happen in an accident.

No it isn't. I will get it checked on Tuesday. I feel unbalanced with it being that way.

Wow. I hope your eye is okay. I think it will be. Lucky the accident wasn't worse than it was. Hang in there, I think you will recover quickly. Things are still fresh right now.

Thanks inertia4. I hope that I heal quickly. My left hand goes numb on me at times. I just don't like feeling like this.

When I was 16, I was involved in a very bad car accident, a head-on collision with another car at a very high rate of speed. I was thrown through the windshield and out over my car and the car that hit me. Needless to say, I had multiple lacerations all over my head and face from the windshield, including glass in my eye. It took many months for my eyes to fully heal from all that glass.

@moffittjc You were lucky. I am dealing with blurred vision and hopefully they can find out what is causing it. My left eye keeps getting shooting pains in it.

@velvet53 There was no permanent damage from all that glass. For years and years, I had perfect vision (my vision isn't so perfect nowadays since I'm much older now! haha)

Im surprised it took all this time to hurt. Ouch! Bug bites do that to my eyes. Hope you're ok!

It hurt a little from day one then got worse. I am using ice on it a lot so most of the swelling has gone down.

@DianneN I can see out of it but things are blurry. There are other issues also, one being my left arm. My elbow hurts and my hand goes numb at times. My whole back aches. I am not the type that complains about pains but these are a constant pain. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I am going to request that xrays be taken.

Thanks Shikha. I hit my head pretty hard on the steering wheel and I knew that I was going to be sore. I just don't like having blurred vision. I will have it checked out.

I did get it checked and they said it was ok. They even told me that I don't need to wear glasses. Good news for me.
