They say Silver Duct Tape has a million uses. I can believe that. If you think about it, Silver Duct Tape by Duck is sole in small to very very large rolls, from one inch to 3 or 4 inches in width. You can use it to patch up the outside storm door of your house to reinforce the aluminum sheet that tends to come apart at the edges. You can do many things with Duck Tape. Yea, the silver kind. Go to a Home Depot and buy you some Duck Tape. You need some Fiskars scissors to cut it so it cuts evenly or tear it if you are a redneck. Duck Tape to connect all the lose wires behind your entertainment center from all of those player components and such. You can tape a note to your refrigerator . It works in a pinch along the front edge of your office desk where the pealed off fake wood is worn away on your nice computer desk. It keeps it smooth and clean. You can put silver duck tape on the bottom of a brick so it won't scratch the floor as a door stop. I know it works well for the bad guys as they use this stuff for their crimes and such but if you go doing this you will give duck tape a bad reputation and that is a no-no. Just say no to using duck tape to bound and gag people. It's just not legal. Duck Tape is about the only thing you can use if you don't have anything else around. It is hell to remove the sticky from surfaces you put it on and you may need to think about alternative ways to fix stuff. But in a pinch, have at least one very large roll of it in your get box and a pair of sharp Fiskars scissors. Cause it's a messy world out there and well, we're all in this together. I learned from a couple guys in the army... you can tape your boot together with duck tape, they call it 7 mile tape, and walk for 7 miles before reapplying I m redneck because I do not need scissors to tear it

You know I never really thought about it, but it is indeed a very useful invention. I wonder if I have any? It is amazing the stuff we take for granted till we do not have it when we need it.

Duct tape and WD-40 hold the world together and make it move. Heck, even I can use them as mechanically inclined as I am not.
