The Sky is Overcast This Morning

Storms were forecast for today, but I don’t see any rain yet. I got most of my errands done yesterday but still need to run a couple more today. Yesterday, I went to the chiropractor and stopped at Staples to copy some important papers, (birth certificates etc.) I’m following instructions on getting all my important papers copied and keeping them in at least two different locations, in case there would be a fire or some other disaster in which they could be destroyed. Everyone should do that, if they can. I’m going to give the copies to my daughter to keep at her house in a safe place. I also stopped on the way home, at Chan’s Chinese Restaurant and got some wonton soup and fried rice, so I wouldn’t have to fix dinner. I really enjoyed eating it. I don’t eat rice that often so it really tasted good. And their wonton soup is the best I’ve ever eaten. I also stopped at the grocery store and picked up what I needed to make some pepperoni rolls. I haven’t made any for quite a while and I thought I would make some today, since it’s cooler. I hate to turn the oven on when the A/C is working overtime to cool the house on those really hot days. Tomorrow, I have been invited to a special dinner for some volunteer work that I have done for the last few years. I’m looking forward to that. I hope to see a lot of friends that I have worked with in the past.
