When they can't find my medicine

I take only a few medicines, but most of them are for the pain because of the fibromyalgia. Unfortunately, a couple of them I have to take in liquid form because the pills have corn starch in them and, as my friends all are probably tired of hearing about it, I'm allergic to corn. So, I have twice gone to the pharmacy and seen the tech looking all over the place for one of my medicines. Both times I was in the drive through and both times I had to hit the speaker. "Yes?" they answer. "Its in the refrigerator," I tell them. Granted, it was two different techs, but really... just because the pills don't need to be refrigerated... Now, its not always liquids I have to take, my Sumatriptan (Imitrix) doesn't come in liquid form - probably a good thing - but before it came in the nasal spray I had to take it as a shot. As vile as the nasal spray is, its better than sticking a needle in me. And, as vile as it is, I actually got an antibiotic that was worse! I didn't realize how bad the antibiotic was, I mean, I knew it was nasty, then when I got a migraine a few months later and took a spray of Imitrix, I was... this isn't so bad... why is that? Oh YEAH! Now, aren't you glad you can swallow a pill?

I have several pills I must swallow every day. Never had to deal with a liquid or nasal spray thank God. I have had to do eye drops, which I detest. I also don't have any really serious health problems yet aside from diabetes. I wish you the best with your illness and may God grant you the patience to deal with the pharmacy techs.

My wife also has eye drops, not that she hates them, but I have to put them in because I have a steadier hand. I take a fair handful at night and a couple when I remember in the mornings.

I'm sorry that you've had some hard time with your prescriptions. This does kind of make me feel that I don't have that problem. It can't be easy.

Its just funny when you have to tell people where to look. It is also amusing to watch them running around looking for them, up to a point anyway.

I really pity you. Luckily, I do not have such problems. The problem I had was knee pain which was got cured not even spending a penny. I do not use any medicine. I am good at Yoga.

I've been told that yoga is good, but I just don't know, they say the stretching (I'm not limber, never have been) and the emptying of the mind are good for you. Those are 2 things I'm seriously not good at.
