Should a gas bottle be removed after use?

Having a portable gas stove is useful for a person who lives alone and travels a lot without relying on electricity power. Both portable electricity and gas stoves are equally helpful. I have the portable electricity stove with the power up to 600 watts.The house I've rented has only 450 watt power, which means that I cannot the stove at max level. So, I set it to 300 - 400 watts only. As a result, it takes a longer time to boil 1.5 litter water (30-35 minutes). For this reason, I decided to buy a portable gas stove. Regarding the gas stove, I doubt if the gas bottle should be removed from its place on the stove after use.
