Is Hollywood going to whitewash an Anime character again with this one?

Hollywood had so many controversies with doing live action adaptations of Anime. One of the main reason is White washing, They love casting White actors for Asian roles because they have this assumption that Asians don't draw.
Now A new Anime is going to be adapted in live action. One Piece. They only need 3 person of colors on this adaptation because most of the support characters are Caucasians.
The Main character Luffy is Brazilian according to the author. There are plenty of South Americans in the US so there is no way they should cast a White guy of German and British Lineage for this role. The Hispanic community and Brazilian community are the most vocal anime fans these days so Hollywood better not mess this up by not casting a South American to play Luffy.
Zoro is Japanese- This is the character who is in most danger to be white washed knowing Hollywood's history with Asian characters. Especially the Male ones.
Ussop is supposed to be South African- He have light skin but he have features that are very African by appearance like having full lips and curly hair.
The Photo I embedded is from the writer of One Piece, That is where he explained the ethnicity and nationalities of his characters.
Had Hollywood learned from Ghost in the Shell and Dragonball Evolution.

At this moment I think One Piece is the biggest Anime, It is higher than Dragonball Super when it comes to ratings. The Producer of Prison break is the one making this live action. It is a tv series instead of a movie. If they can pull this off I don't know. I think they need to consult the fanbase on making this one to avoid outrage and they need to find writers who are fans of the source material.
Speaking of Pokemon, I cant believe that show is still going strong. There use to be 140 something Pokemon now there are 802.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Are there really 802? I remember when there were 140 or 150. I worked with younguns at the time, so I knew many of them, and what they morphed into. Now, I'd be lost.

@CaptAlbertWhisker If The Straw Hats get white-washed I won't care in the slightest. I stopped caring a long time ago after seeing this controversy pop up every time. Plus if you want me to be honest this is the first time I learned that Luffy was Brazilian, Usopp was South African, and Zoro was Japanese(though that should be obvious...) So it wouldn't have mattered to me anyway.
It's the same thing with the general public. They don't know, so why should they care? Hell anime fans aren't any different, as no one batted an eye when the Attack On Titan film came out with an asian cast despite the fact that they're all white(except Mikasa and possibly Levi) and I doubt anyone will cry fowl when Japanese actors when Ed and Alphonse will be casted by asian actors. Because "FMA is a Japanese piece of media so it makes sense."
But by that logic it makes sense for an American adaptation of animel to have white actors as the lead roles. Especially since Americans are programmed to only care about big named actors. My point is there seems to be a double standard amongst the anime fandom. It's okay for the Japanese to not be faithful with the casting, but it's not okay for America to do it?
Plus the execution of the film is far worst an issue than the flipping cast. With the Pirates Of Th Caribbean films, Muppet Pirate Film, and various adaptations of Treasure Island, HollyWood has ZERO EXCUSES to screw up One-Piece's plot. Because at the end of the day minus the Devil Fruit powers, Haki abilities, crazy weapons, it's a story about a pirate crew sailing the seas for treasure. That can't be THAT hard to screw up. But because Hollywood's like "LOL, it's anime, we don't get it," they'll find a way to screw it up.

I am sure you can understand though why this issue is big for Asians. Hollywood had been discriminating Asians from playing characters meant for them.

@TheHorse Well it is a Hong Kong movie, if its Hollywood we might end up with Robert Downey Junior or Will Smith so they can say they are diverse,

Ruroni Kenshin is the only Good Anime Live action. Anime live action though sucks more if Hollywood makes it because they are too racist that they decline cast Asian actors for Asian roles.
Then Japan also make bad Anime adaptations, Like the Attack on Titan one where they casted Japanese people to play Germans.
