I have had a couple of interviews the last few weeks. They are for after school programs. There is one that I have not heard from yet. There is another one that I heard back from right away with a rejection. I was sad that day after all the trouble I went through for that interview. I had to get a transcript, reference letters, and make a copy of my license. They sent me the rejection email the next day. I had an interview today and it went very well. I was offered the position pending good references which I emailed tonight and a good background check which will take a couple weeks. If all goes well, I will be formally offered the position by the 15th or 22nd and will start on the 29th. What have others experienced with this?

Hope this all works out for you and you enjoy the new position (which we might all feel is yours-it's just a matter of getting the references taken care of now) @melindataylor22

Wishing you all the best and let's stay positive.
I have never really experienced getting rejected in a job. All the jobs I have applied before, I was accepted. There were only two that I have applied and then after quitting, I became a self-employed person.
At the moment, I am planning to apply as an Instructor in a University but I haven't done any steps in doing so yet. Maybe I'll get accepted or maybe I'll get rejected. If i get rejected, it'll be my first.

My friend's grandmother who I live with has always gotten jobs she has applied for too. I am glad that you have experienced that. Good luck on whatever you decide to do about being a university instructor. I wish you all the best. I am going to stay positive and thank you.

I think there are so many standard requirements of some companies. It appeared to be unattainable. But then, we need to deal with it. I had experienced rejection from a job position a couple of times. Regardless, I don't mind. I need to find another one and be lucky to have one.

This is the right position at least for awhile. Eventually after a year and when I have a car again I may try to become a behavior therapist.
