I hate to tell Marvel Studios that the older humanoids like myself were going to have Spider Man fatigue. Did they listen that older people like myself are tried of the same old diversity cast of the supporting characters like Flash Thompson and Mary Jane Watson?
No they did not. And the real tip off was according to an entertainment movie websites one of the characters did not like the Washington Memorial because of our nations past sins.
Sure Spider Man Homecoming was a hit in America when it opened but since there a lot of super hero movies at the same time that Spider Man Homecoming came out, it diluted the Spider-Man market this year overseas.

I read that story years ago in a New Orleans entertainment newspaper that the Far East market is where the studios get their real money from their movies.
