I used to travel four hours because of traffic. I know how you feel. That's why I work from home nowadays. My boss sends me a description of what I should write, I work at it for three days, send it over via FTP, and collect my pay on the 15th/30th of every month. Sweet.

I have my own FMCG distribution network and I had to travel 25 kms on a busy road and it takes more than 1hr 20 minutes to reach my place.

Fortunately we do not have severe winter. lowest temparature would be 12 to 15 degree celsius.

I travel 3 flights of stairs down and I'm at work. I know not fair but I work from home and believe it or not there are some disadvantages to that like family disturbances.

Sure thing, there are always more enjoyable things to spend it on other than gas.

As more travelling will be tedious we opt for a house nearby to our work place. It is just 7 miles away.so not more than 20 minutes one way--if there is less red signal.

I work less than half a mile away from my home which is good. Im pretty lazy tho cos I still mostly drive there even tho by the time Ive waited at a couple of junctions and gone thro a big set of traffic lights, its actually quicker to walk there. Gona really make the effort to do that from now on!!

We live about 10 miles from my husband's work but it takes about 15-25 minutes to drive there depending on traffic. Then it takes him 10-15 minutes to walk across the parking lot to where he has to clock in. Before that we lived a few blocks from where he worked and it took him about 5 minutes to drive to work each day, which meant he could also come home for his lunch breaks. It was nice.
