Money spent on travel is money lost?

August 3, 2017 2:27pm CST
Sometimes some people make real "miracles" to be able to realize the dream of being able to travel to the places that they want. I mean, months (or years, depending on the locality) saving money, excluding doing other things and so many others "techniques". This is sometimes seen as an exaggeration on the part of those who don't like to travel, and prefers to spend money otherwise. What do think about it?

It's all up to that person. Someone who enjoys travel would see the value in saving/spending money for a vacation whereas it would not seem logical for someone who doesn't enjoy it.

Everyone is entitled to have their own way of spending their own money.

I agree. If you enjoyed it then it cannot be considered as a waste unless you spend ALL your money for it without saving something for 'tomorrow'.

I would so much rather travel and have those experiences than have more stuff!

I love to travel and it is money well spent. Travel can be recreational, relaxing, educational, informative, seeing different cultures, break from the routine.

It's a money loss but not at all because you get to enjoy while spending it. Why do you work anyway if you don't get to enjoy your money?

I don't spend my savings on traveling. What i spend on traveling is just my extras and i make sure i travel luxuriously and not for the purpose of just posting it on Facebook. So, i do enjoy my travel a lot even though it's quite expensive but it's something that i can afford and no amount of money can buy the experience and the happiness i get from being able to relax and relieve myself of stress.

If we have lots of money, or we are making lots of money then it's not lost ..,but if it's not like that and importance is given to traveling then it's lost.

I think if someone can afford to travel they should and build memories for a lifetime. I think traveling is a great way to learn different things and fully enjoy life.
