Memory::: I was probably about three because I did remember this. We ,my mother and I were down at vegetable garden. She had seated me on a blanket as she dug u p peanut pants. As fast as she dug up the peanuts I took my little hands and replanted them. I knew that they were supposed to be in the ground, Soon my mom' came over to put the peanuts in the basket She saw I had repanted them and was so proud of my self, Byt she was syuyrporised that I knew hos to do it and upset as she planned on roasting them] itn the oven. So she shrieked "Patsie baby what are you doing? I tod her "mmmy they are plants: she laughed and rescued all the peanut plants and stowed them in her basket Wgen I started to cry she told me that tjey were peanuts and she would make me some peanut butter. She knew I loved the taste of peanut butter She told that story about me and peanut pplants s until I was probably in my teensI It' always got a few chuckles..
