Hey, just continuation of Part 1 (le duh ) So now, on to day 3! Did my thing, then we boarded the bus. So the bus took us to the docks (or whatever?) to board the boat to go to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island! The Statue of Liberty, was absolutely beautiful, but certainly much smaller than I thought it may be, sorry, hope I am not ruining it for anyone Ellis Island was very neat! I loved going on to the online database type thing, to search different surnames through my family that have gone through Ellis Island, even though I know I don't think I have any American relatives, it was still very cool to look that stuff up! When we were back on the mainland, we were on our way! Then, we went for lunch. That was alright. Afterwards, we walked over to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, to take a guided tour. It was pretty well put together, but I couldn't help notice, there was one person who was hovering around the place, who was making me super nervous, I thought maybe they were a pickpocket, but who knows really After we were done here, we went and ate a nice dinner. After the meal, we went to see Book of Mormon, which turned out to be amazing!! I knew I heard good things, but leave it to the creators of South Park, to make for, nothing but short of a ingenious, and very hilarious, good time! I even happened to meet someone from Toronto, that was standing in line for drinks, who recognized my shirt, that was interesting. Now, day four. This was a very uneventful day, mostly just was returning back to Canada, but we did stop at an outlet mall, so I bought a few things in a sports store, and some clothes that I got like 70% off, knew I couldn't pass that up. Anyways, that was my trip, I probably yapped way too much haha, I tried to shorten it down, but that is not my specialty.. Cheers!

Way, cool! Fun fact about The Book of Mormon play, the origins are part of my state of Utah history. Now the play is also playing up in Salt Lake as well, no I haven't seen it. (Not much into plays, lol) Glad you had a fun time! Would it be too forward if I said I thought about you and wondered how you were doing up there while on your trip?

Sounds like you and your mom enjoyed your trip. Sometimes it is better to go on short trips more often as there is so much to see and do in NYC. At least this way you can think about all you saw and did and about any things you want to do the next time.

@ramapo17 The bus ride was something like 10 hours or so. The hotel was in New Jersey, about 45 minutes from NYC.

Ellis Island was very interesting and I enjoyed it more than the Statue of Liberty.
