Does Feng Shui 3 legged frog bring luck?

Many people buy feng shui 3 legged frog for their house. In Chinese vastushastra they believe a 3 legged frog with a coin in the mouth brings luck and prosperity. So I wonder does it really bring any luck or it is just a show piece.
