I've made a post about this several weeks back about another Jollibee chain in our place. It's a popular chain here in the Philippines and they also exist in other parts of the world like the US.
It's Sunday here and originally it was meant to open last month but I knew by the looks of it that it was impossible then. So, they rescheduled it for Thursday but still not possible in my opinion.
I feel sad for those other food kiosk that would be removed. but they're causing enough traffic, how much more if this chain opens. But at least I can have a nice meal with out riding a public transport..
So much has changed in our neighborhood, it has become too commercialized.A mall was already built before this.

Wow things are changing in your place the Letran.
I hope the food is good for the place.
Sad if it puts some food kiosk out of business.
What kind of food do they serve?

Commercialization has its pro and cons. People are getting jobs because of the new store but others will be losing theirs as well.
Just enjoy the Chicken Joy and the Champ!

@allen0187 I almost work there but then again, I prefer to be the customer and blessed to have Jollibee near the place.

Sad to say, but welcome to America and you thought we disliked people who do not come from here. America has its foot in everything. Corporate America taking over the world.

We don't have one of those where I live. Anyway I am not much of a fast food fan these days. Still I would like to sample something new and different

Hello @Freelanzer There's a branch somewhere in winniepeg not sure how far you are to that place. As long as there's a huge population of Filipinos in a certain country, there's always jollibee around.

It will create jobs @dollaboy in fact this chain already getting tons of profit because of a promo they were spreading all over the neighborhood. But the traffic will be more severe and annoying vehicle owners will park at our space which is even more annoying for the tenants.

our area is becoming commercialized, too. so many eateries you can eat out from breakfast to after-dinner drinking places. if it's walking distance from your house, then i guess you will be buying your pasalubong there when you visit your brother's kids.

Well, I don't often give them Jollibee because they usually buy some other fast food besides this one. But I am going to enjoy having meals here @hereandthere

Wow, it sounds like your area is really growing. I have never heard of a Jollibee - what kind of food do they have?

It's hard to believe that it's really growing from a once quiet subdivision @FayeHazel well, it's a bit sweeter than Mcdonalds or KFC.
