My English Class

Last September, when i graduated from my college with a master's degree, i signed up for an English training, which cost me ?30,800. I have confidence in myself that i will improve much in my spoken English. However, it doesn't work that way. Even ten months have passed, i am still not able to open my mouth. What a joke!

What you need is somebody to converse with everyday. What course did you master in? 30,800 is that RMB?

Oh! That training is quite expensive! I think sometimes you just need to feel relaxed and it doesn't matter to make mistkaes. As native speakers will understand you. You can try to use the simple and easy words at the beginning. As long as you are not afraid to open your mouth, everything will be easier after that.

Someone suggested to us when we were learning another language that we should watch the TV news in that language. It was a great help. Do you have a British TV News station there?

@xiaoyujiayou It would be nice if we had TED Talks here in a language other than English too.

A lot of english TV shows are available here in China, such as Friends, Game of Thrones. But what i like most is the TED speech. I am interested in their topics, which can broad my views and improve the way i always thinking. I watch these shows very often, but it seems not much helpful in my english. How it comes like that?

Learning is one thing but practicing is a whole new story. That's the difference in learning a new language.

@xiaoyujiayou You shouldn't... I'm learning arabic and the hardest part of learning a new language is getting used to pronounciation and accent.. My arabic accent is the worst... Giving up is not an option so... Lets get it on...
