It’s frustrating when the doorbell rings and ruins sleep

On weekends I love lazing around at home. Saturday and Sunday are two days I get time for an afternoon nap. I love my afternoon nap on weekends. However, on weekends the doorbell rings and that’s it my sleep is ruined. It's salespersons that visit noon time during weekends. I don’t know why. Its perhaps got to do with the fact that after a heavy meal on a weekend people are dazed and buy just about anything. I do not have the liberty of an afternoon nap on weekdays, and so I love my afternoon nap on weekends. I have switched off the doorbell on many occasions and found out that door knocks are even more annoying than the sound of the doorbell. There was once this scrawny guy who sold me a protein powder on a Sunday afternoon. This guy was continuously yawning during his sales pitch. He claimed the protein powder was excellent nutrition. I was sleepy and to my misery this guy was yawning as he was trying to sell me the protein powder. It felt like he was rattling lines from a book. Frustrated, I purchased the protein powder and gave it to him saying “You need it more than I do.” The guy yawned again before smiling, said thanks and left. Has your afternoon nap been ruined?

Can't you disengage the doorbell for your nap?

As I've mentioned, I've done that on few occasions and realized the sound of door knocks is more annoying than doorbell rings

@realityspeaks Then pin a sign onto the door saying that you're not at home but will be back at a certain time.
