In vernacular term we call this plant as "baka-baka"-- a kind of shrub plant commonly found in our place. Its a vine plant that has beautiful flower and a fruit the size of marbles. When the fruit is not yet ripe the color is green but when its already ripen it turns to orange. Birds love this fruit. When we were kids we love to eat the fruit, its not so tasty but its not sour and bitter. Its sweetness is just enough to taste. What so different with this fruit is the guard of the fruit. It has a white chains that guard rhe fruit. But that guard are soft and is easy to remove. Photo is mine

Oh it has a distinct taste and the birds love to eat this fruit. Maybe a good source of some nutrition if not medicinal.

The orange fruit is just the size of mables but the taste is somewhat similar to rambutan.
