Recently the mobile version of Facebook's SuperCity went live but requires a hefty app download and so far I haven't been able to figure out how to get the web based game and the app game to work together on the same city. Why bother having a mobile app for a game if it doesn't afford you the opportunity to advance your standing in the other version? The tutorial process is so slow and there should be a way to skip it if you already know how things work with the original. When I was downloading the app to my phone I was using a business connection at a hotel; even with that super fast connection it still took the better part of ten minutes to download it I was really looking forward to being able to play the game when mobile to help out with quests and earning items but neither Playkot or Facebook thought this through. To create something that can't be ported to the main game or have even the smallest benefit is just as waste of time. Aside from the huge download, incompatibility with the PC version and need to enlarge the city then scroll around it the game just doesn't have any unique perks to attract new players or to get the PC games to download this for some mobile action. I had seen the advert for the mobile version at the website but had to wait a couple of days for it to actually surface and become active. After I downloaded it and tested it out I realized this mobile app was created for one thing and one thing only – to make a fast buck on booster items. I can't fault them for wanting to cash in on the popularity of the game but pushing a mobile app with so many bugs and lags would completely put me off the game all altogether had I not already played it on the PC.
