I don't know if you have heard "soup number 5". I guess some of you (particularly fellow Filipino) have already heard of this but I doubt other nationalities especially those in western countries. Soup number 5 is famous in Filipino food as an aphrodisiac food. Basically its a soup with the taste of onions, ginger and other spices to make it tastier and yummier. But the main ingredient and should not be absent is the testicle. You read it right, literally its a testicle of animals particularly from goats, cows and carabaos. Believe it or not there's a belief that its an aphrodisiac for men-- this is the reason why its so expensive and only in few place and restaurant that you can find this. Then the taste, it's yummy. Well, the testicle is very soft and once it is cooked it is like it is melting in your mouth. And why it's an aphrodisiac? Well, I think you know the reason why?
