The sequel to the first "Annabelle" movie that came out in 2014 which is called "Annabelle: Creation" has made $15 million dollars in 3.502 theaters on Friday which makes it the top movie this week. "Dunkirk" is in second place while "The Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature" is likely to land in third place this weekend with a box office $3 million dollars on Friday. The sequel to the Nut Job movie is likely to make around $9 million to $10 million dollars this weekend as it has been seen in about 4,003 theaters. "Dark Tower" which won the box office weekend race by making $7.5 million dollars this weekend. I guess movies that have talking dolls that create havoc are what the movie audiences like to see these days.

I am surprised by the success of a relatively low budget horror picture with no name stars and not a Marvel character in it.

I guess movie goers like to be shocked by dolls that are mean.
