Where ever you go, you come across people with smart phones on their palms, their eyes looking at the phone display. Sometimes their lips smiled. Even kids aged 5 or more seem engrossed in playing with their mobile phones. Am I right if I say this is the era of mobile phone technology. Some people say that mobile phones are not only for communication but rather a plus value for people who own it, especially when the phones are expensive ones. There are also people who don't care whether or not their phones are out of date. They just want to be connected with their families or friends. What about?

I think many people are using the mobile phones because they are lonely and it feels like having a friend in their pocket.

I use smartphone to make money online (outdoors) because DSL is not available at my location (far flung area).

I use iPhone to make money online. I have cheap android phone for testing money making apps. I have out of date phone (no internet) for calls & texts especially when in public. I don't use my iPhone in public especially in Metro Manila because there are snatchers.

Theft happens every where now. Gotta be on the alert where ever you are.

I'm a person who has had all apple models wince I switched. I have the new one every single year they launch the latest model. It's not that I need a new one every year, but since I can afford it, I need the upgrade for a faster phone.

For the time being, I can't afford it. With my kids already grown up, cost of living is sort of a burden. It would be different if they were still small kids. So, the fund is to be prioritized on other things. Hopefully things will look up in the near future.

@yanzalong Sure! I only have one son and it's not cheap raising him as well as he goes to the most expensive school here. It's not easy raising a family without a stable job and income and with no savings in the bank. Necessity is the most important thing.

During the early years of mobile phone it was just a 'want' for some people but as the days go by it becomes a 'need' because of communication tool to anyone. It just level up to internet services and so everyone should have mobile phone.
