Michael Schumacher was the best driver before, but now the best driver is Fernando Alonso.

Who is your best F1 driver?? Many F1 pundits argue that the best F1 driver of all time was the late Ayrton Senna, as he could be extremely quick and get incredible results in cars that were far less competitive than those of his rivals. He was also known as 'Rainmeister' for his mastery over wet conditions. His incredible race in Donington Park in 1993 is testament to that. He was able to find grip in the wet conditions even when on slicks (dry weather tyres) which he used for several laps, even in totally wet conditions. It was this mastery that helped him win the race, and that too by a huge time margin, despite having a far less competitive car, when compared to his rivals. The closest anyone has ever been to him has been Micheal Schumacher.

I will pick Micheal Schumacher.
