Three cheers for Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson who has drawn a line in the sand that he will not allow any of his football players to sit down during the playing of The Star Spangled Banner before the start of football games this year.
Of course our brave and wise and I use the term loosely National Football League (NFL) Commissioner Roger Goodell who has called for tolerance of football players who sit during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner.
Excuse me Mister Goodell, have you ever heard of the song by the Brotherhood Of Man called "United We Stand?"
Do you remember the anger from the average football fan who refused to watch the football games in 2017 as payback for Colin Kaepernick "protest" of our great nation over sins this nation has on her record? I guess not.
If I were Goodell, this what I would do. I would have on the video scoreboard of all stadium in the National Football League play the late Elvis Presley song "American Trilogy" before the playing of our National Anthem and see how these clowns react to the King Of Rock And Roll with his booming voice singing one of his greatest hit songs of all time.
Now ESPN and Fox Sports 1, get on board and get some patriotism back on Sunday.

What's that saying, there's no "I" in team? If you're there to do anything other than play football, go home. You have 165 other hours in the week, plus seven and a half other months in the year, to make your political views known.

Can't say I agree with Coach Hue Jackson but I like that he voiced his preference and he said his expectations from his players.

If the coach was the late George Halas, or the late coaches Vince T Lombardi or the late Tom Landry the player would be fired on the spot if they sit or knelt during the playing of the National Anthem.

My kind of football coach. I am sure if the coach was the late football coaches Tom Landry, Vince T Lombardi or the late George S Halas any protestor on their team would be fired on the spot.
