One project out of the way.

Good afternoon.We are having our driveway done.
They put a sealer on.We have this done every few years or more.
To protect our drive way.It was a great day.
We can use it tomorrow to drive on.
The is one project out of the way.
The next one is new doors in our house.
We are having a hard time finding carpenter to do some work for us.
I remember at one time.There were many out there looking for work.
Not today.Hopefully to get this done before winter fly.
Does anyone here have their drive way sealed?

When I lived in MA my bf worked as a paver doing driveways and sometimes I went with in the dump truck.
Looks they are doing a good job.

@amadeo We do not have a long drive way.When will the work of doors begin?Were you able to get a good carpenter?

Nope, we have not had it sealed since we put it in 20 years ago, still looks pretty darn good to me.

I live in an apartment so I do not have to worry about yard work around our building. I had my own project that I did myself when I had time to spare and it felt so good to clear out an area that my landlord when ask about and made it better. I moved from a bigger apartment to a small one so there are just some things I cannot throw out. I did throw out more things and made it a little more open there. Now, my Sophie does not have so many places to hide but she still finds them. it felt really good that I did other rooms as well. I do not have a storage area, but, there are people that clutter our bomb shelter with their things.

sealed drive way is great. seems that always happens. when you need something done can't find anyone. but if not they are knocking on your door all the time wanting to know if you need it.

We had our driveway sealed at our last home, it was done right after we moved in.
They look like they're doing a good job on yours here.
Good luck with the doors, we always had good luck finding a contractor when we went in to buy the new door, they always had a contractor's name for us.

We don't have a driveway to seal. They did repave the avenue last month.

We have a cement driveway - one of the few in the country! finding people to work is never easy - good luck.
