I've had this account for 10 years and have just opened it again. What changes have happened?

I just opened my myLot account today and I'm surprised that this is still around. I remember checking this a few years back and it had (sort of) shut down. I am pretty happy this is back now. I joined 10 years ago (holy moly it's been a decade) and I've always enjoyed this site the most. I'm wondering what changes have happened to the site? Anything new and interesting?

Thank you! I'm looking forward to posting again here. I still have to get the hang of things (again) but am pretty sure I'll figure things out soon enough.

@TiarasOceanView wow! I am really excited! They've removed the best answer in the discussion threads? How are the earnings now? Still by the topic you post? or more on interaction? I remember they used to have a minimum of $20 before you could cash out to your Paypal. I think it's $5 now? Anyway, doesn't really matter. Just happy that I'm on this site again.

@rosedust82 Need any help just ask here..it is so much fun and much better than the old site. Take no notice of spammers here by the way, just a heads up, they are quickly deleted.

It is. I went through my last posts and I couldn't believe how long I've had this. You've had a lot of posts if you just joined a little under a year, which is great! Can't wait to get back on this site.

@rosedust82 They 'count' posts completely different than they did back when you used to be here, now they count every discussion, response and comment you make. It used to be you only got a maximum of two 'points' next to your name for every discussion you were involved in

We don't get paid as much as we used to but it's a nice place with some nine people that you can have an interaction. Welcome back!

The pay is secondary. Just happy I can be around lots of people at least in the virtual setting. Thanks and I hope to see you around.

The earnings algorithm is the complete opposite of what it used to be.
I've been here myself since 2006.
You no longer earn for making posts here, but for the responses, comments, and likes you receive from other members.
You might want to look through the Help links

I remember that when I came back, I noticed that there were changes. But I don“t remember which ones they were except that now the minimum cashout is $5

the minimum was $10 but in the old mylot you can raise it higher. when it restarted 2 years ago, it was still $10 but now it's $5. if you don't want to receive it yet, remove your paypal email address from your account settings.

It didn't shut down, it only stopped paying because they over paid us much before. It's sad because I should have saved money from those years. Maybe it's not too late this time.

I should have been more active then! Oh well, I guess it isn't too late to start. I think I lost whatever was left of my earnings then and started with zero in my account. I remember I had a few dollars but it may have been forfeited.
