The American Broadcasting Company (ABC) has ordered a live action television series of the Hanna Barbera cartoon series "The Jetsons" that ran on ABC TV from 1963-1964 and in syndication in 1985. Writer Gary Janetti will be the executive producer of the series along with Robert Zemeckus and Jack Rapke will be working with co-executive producer Jackie Levine. It will be interesting to see if the new Jetsons television series will stay close to the original stories with clean humor and fantastic stories or will be an updated adult version that will get the conservatives angry that will give this show free publicity not to mention the wrath of some my rivals who are addressing me as an old prude.

I hope they bring Uniblab the robot since he was a very good character as George Jetson's nemesis in "Uniblab" and "G I Jetson."

I read about this. Every day Hollywood tops itself in the next ridiculous "idea."

I know what you mean. Fan fiction writers do a better job of creating original characters.
