Does rose plants require less water in Autumn?

Autumn season comes after heavy rain in monsoon in India. In Kolkata it rains regularly in the months of the July and August. So when Autumn comes at the end of the August and early September, the potted plants are filled with water. So do the rose plants need less water during the month of September?

No idea at all. My rose plants are on the terrace I water every day
