Were you nervous for your child's first day of school?

My 3 year old daughter just started head start. This is such a happy moment for me. My oldest is in his final year in high school and my daughter is just entering school. They have a huge age gap but I wouldn't trade neither one of them for the world. Did you feel sad when you sent your child to school for the first time?

I wasn't! I was excited as he was and proud of him when he started his school. He was only 2 years old when he decided he wanted to be in school. It was hard to stop him from going as he really loved it there.

My 3 year old loves school also, I just hope that she still feels the same way when she goes to high school.

@miyaford Right! My son still loves going to school up until now. He's already 13 and he's in grade 8 (junior high).

I have not any child..as I am still a student.but .I have seen my mother's eyes wet when she was leaving me in my hostel for the first time.I also felt very different when I was far from my parents. .but now it has become a habit and I study away from my parents missing them and have conversation on phone when I feel missing. .

I am not a mother but I see no reason to be nervous if you are in a peaceful community.
