Organic or regular chicken meats

Which do you prefer to purchase? Here in our country, both organic and the regular chicken part cuts are sold in the supermarket at different prices. A tray of the regular chicken parts could cost USD$2.50 but the organic chicken charges double the price for the same amount. Although organic chicken meat is tender and healthier than the regular, I am not rich enough to afford organic chicken meat at this price range. I ciuld had bought 2 trays that could last 4 days of meals! What is your preference? Photo taken by peachpurple

Generally speaking, organic is better than regular, so it does cost more than the regular. In my area, my mom usually raises chicken before the Lunar New Year. Then, we will stew the chicken with mushrooms. I would like to say the organic chicken will be smell better than regular.

@Behindtheguitarbar yes, I read up articles on organic chicken are far better. Since your mom rear chickens, you can eat good village chicken at home. lucky you

I prefer regular chicken. You will never know if they are real organic.

@peachpurple it is stated in the package if it is organic. I am fine. Keep on interacting so we can see each other virtually.

From what I've seen, organic is no different than regular, the only difference is the package. If you want true organic you basically have to raise the chicken yourself

If the cost was no concern I would buy only organic but I need to save money where I can so we do not buy organic food.
