Sneaky Dust!!

One chore I don't particularly like to do, but will do it when I have to is dust the furniture. After I do that, I always feel like I have accomplished something. But, there is one thing I do forget about and don't do as often as I should, because it slips my mind that dust would even form there, and it is the sneaky dust, the dust that forms on ceiling fan blades and window blinds! I just dusted the bedroom window blinds this morning and that takes more effort than using a dry cloth. I had to use a wet sponge to clean them properly. It is amazing where dust will form!

I just did the light shade that is near the kitchen..it is glass and was coated in all kinds of gunk..I had to use Dawn to clean it, it was so caked on there. It is because it is near the kitchen which does not have proper ventilation here in this lousy apartment.

Oh yes, lamp shades are another thing where sneaky dust forms. It is a pain to get that off.

@LeaPea2417 It surely is, first I tried 409, then glass cleaner, then in the end I had to use Dawn it was so grimy. Then after that I washed it down with vinegar to get the residue off.

Dust in homes or offices contains small amounts of plant pollen, human hairs and paper fibers, Dust are everywhere if not cleaned everyday. I always clean my room once a week hehe.

The blinds are just too much work to clean. I want to get rid of them all! Ceiling fans I remember and they don't get too bad. The lampshades are hard to dust too. Sometimes hubby takes them in the shop and uses the air compressor to dust them off
